HaHa! Have you heard the little ditty (that you can also act out) to the tune of “I’m a Little Snowman?” There are many versions. Here’s the one I learned:
I’m a little snowman
short and fat.
Here is my broomstick,
here is my hat.
When the sun comes out,
I melt away…
down, down, down, down…
Oops! I’m a puddle!
Thanks so much, Lynn. A few people were slightly irritated that the fishermen were blocking their view, and almost like the fishermen were oblivious to it all. Maybe they were taking that kind of beauty for granted. And yet, I think their presence adds to the photos. 🙂

Ha! Love the itty-bitty-snowman-ditty! Too cute. The Fishermen are fine. Humanizes the sunset and shows we can enjoy God’s creation being part of it. 🙂 I just don’t like to catch fish.I’ll readily eat them though.
Very appropriate for our last class as well.
Thank you, Sandy!
Except we are not melting into the night. You won’t get rid of us that easily. 🙂
I’m melting. I’m melting! Little joke. 🙂 This is so beautiful Sandy and I do so appreciate your poetry–always!
Love
Lynn

It struck me that they were pretty intent on what they were doing. Reminded me to look up sometimes. And yet… I saw beauty in their presence as well.
Such soothing photos and poem. Thanks, Sandra!
Thanks, Martha. I have to say it was one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen.
