Welcome to the Still Saturday Community where we pause after a busy week, move in quiet pilgrimage, maybe linger a while in some still place, and soak in the beauty of images and reflect on the depth of sparse words. We’d love for you to join us. Grab the button and link up below. We all love to hear if something especially speaks to your heart, but please don’t feel pressured to comment. Simply take some time to be still together, to gaze long and drink deep.

Read on Lisha Epperson’s facebook page earlier today: “The difference between a flower and a weed is a judgment. – unknown” — and now I am here reading this.
My ears are pricked.

Crazy how that happens.

I love weeds like chickory blue and queen anne’s lace – we mustn’t be deceived when they are called weed!
Sandra Heska King says
Nor should we be deceived when what looks like a flower is really a weed. 😉

Have a beautiful weekend, my beautiful friend. Much love, Patricia

Love it! Hope you had a great weekend, Patricia. Last weekend wasn’t super still as I was out of town and running that race and preparing to board a plane on Monday. Just now getting around.

It’s all how you look at things. Great reminder as always, Sandra. Thank you. 🙂
Sandra Heska King says
Yup. May we not overlook the beauty in what seems to be weeds… but see real weeds for what they are.

As a child I used to pick wildflowers and put them in vases, preferring them to the flowers in my father’s garden, even though my mother was dismayed that I was picking “weeds!” Thanks for the lovely post & for hosting & God bless!
Sandra Heska King says
LOVE wildflowers. They are like gifts. What we grow in the garden is what we’ve planted on our own. Gifts, yes. But wildflowers… they are something special.
