Today’s walk revealed
an angel of Grace
and the reminder that
to journey with the wind at your back
is easier than to turn and fight it.
I wondered if God’s eye was on the sparrow
but not the cardinal.

Now how did you get such a lovely picture of a snow angel? I tried to do that one day when embracing all our snow but it did not turn out.
Loved this ~> “to journey with the wind at your back is easier than to turn and fight it.”
Such truth.

Oh, how I love the new look! I need that *wind* at my back…gently, and sometimes not so gently, shoving me onward! Love it! <3

Lynn, my Brussels sprout friend! It’s like chocolate just topped my day to “see” you. I’ve been struggling to get around to visit people… 🙁

Lovely photos and touching reflection, Sandy. Blessings!

Ah, yes. And the sparrow probably thinks it’s due to its spiritual maturity. While the poor cardinal knows it didn’t do anything wrong–not any more than usual, anyway–and the cat/owl/hawk still came.
