I had tickets to meet Melissa Gilbert Saturday,
have her sign my books.
But my heart wasn’t in it.
When your heart is aching
and people are breaking,
sometimes it’s okay to just stay in bed
and read a book.

I love this concept and the way in which you are approaching it. And this new website. GORGEOUS. It is perfection. Know you must be happy with it. Way to nail it Lyla.
She done good. Yes, she did. I love it!
Such beauty captured in a few words. Blessings!
This is a challenge for sure. But kind of fun to discipline myself to try to say a lot in a few. 🙂
Praying for you!
Thank you, dear friend. I’m glad you’re here. I’m so very far in getting around to visit even to my favorites. Like you.
So much in these 40 words Sandy. I understand. It overwhelms sometimes, all the sorrow and heartache. Whispering a prayer for you.
Whispering my thanks. xo
I did that last Monday (stay in bed and read). One of the most productive days I’ve had in ages.
Somedays it seems like doing nothing does a whole lot of something. 🙂
Sometimes, it’s best to just sit back and be still in the midst of our lives clamor. I’m hoping for a day like that today . . .
Hope you are doing better, Sandy!
Love and blessings!
It could happen, Martha… considering I’m snowed in right now. 🙂
Love to you.
