Yesterday I passed a saucy tree
dressing up for primavera,
a red breast tucked within its arms,
a woodchuck hidden in its skirt.
I teased tangled hair of dog
and savored a chocolate-dipped cone,
a first-day gift from Dairy Queen.

When the chocolate is eaten, do you ever wish you could ask them to dip it again? 🙂

Truly beautiful.
The photo hues,
the poetic lines,
spring’s red breasted prodigal.
Love this.
