Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.
Rejoice in that day and leap for joy,
because great is your reward in heaven

Such a great scripture to ponder. Blessings!
Funny… we had a guest pastor today, and he talked about the world hating us…
Amazing photos, Sandy! Wow! And, of course, love the Scripture, too. 🙂
It’s a scripture to lean into, isn’t it? And thanks. I took the last two photos from my kitchen window, then slipped outside in just jeans and a light sweater and scuffy slippers and lay down in the snow to catch the top one. I was very wet and very cold. 😉
awesome photo’s you do have a gift for seeing the beauty and sharing it.
Thanks so much, dear Sharon.
LOVE the photos, as usual. Would love to spend some time with you and you could take me around and about where you take pics of birds. AND it’s a good Word, too, b/c I DO have quite a number of people who don’t like me, b/c I’m too picky about some stuff. You just grabbed my heart, as usual, Sandy. Thanks.
😀
I would take you directly to my windows and out into my yard. That’s where I take most of the photos. 😉
beautiful photos. we have many birds of prey here too. thanks for reflection on a hard truth. Blessings, linda
When the birds disappear from the feeders, I look to the tree. Last summer I saw a kestrel at the “door” of a birdhouse where a sparrow had babies. Never saw one of those before!
