“O God, I have tasted of Thy goodness and it has both satisfied me
and made me thirsty for more . . .
I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing;
I thirst to be made more thirsty still . . .
Give me grace to rise and follow Thee up from this misty lowland
where I have wandered so long.”

In the stillness,

Welcome to the Still Saturday Community where we pause after a busy week, move in quiet pilgrimage, maybe linger a while in some still place, and soak in the beauty of images and reflect on the depth of sparse words. We’d love for you to join us. Grab the button and link up below. We all love to hear if something especially speaks to your heart, but please don’t feel pressured to comment. Simply take some time to be still together, to gaze long and drink deep.

Dearest Sandy, thank you so much for sharing this Tozer quote. It is one I love and one I really needed to read this morning (after middle of the night prayer). This is a reminder to read this book again….to read a deep classic and not wallow in the shallows, and yes, to RISE UP from the misty lowlands where I have too long wondered. Bless you. this was a providential choice that you selected, if for no one else, for me.
You are precious to me.
Love
Lynn
