OH, what a blessing to hear that song. And to hear one of my favorite singers, Guy Penrod. He’s a real worshiper, too. I love that! And the photo and the words. As usual, you did beautifully. I’m very sorry that I can’t keep up with people well enough. Sure want to see you, talk to you some time. Your wisdom would be a helpful blessing. Anyhow, always forward to seeing your pieces. Bless you!

Oh Sandra…I needed this!!! My absolute favourite hymn! I have goosebumps tingling all over and my heart is lifted on high, where my blessed Saviour reigns. Fantastic! Thank you.
Hope you are having a refreshing time away, Sandy.
I am so thankful for you. Hugs

Oh sweet Sandy, I needed to hear/read this. I love this hymn. Mother chose it many years ago for the funeral of her twenty-one-year-old beloved sister-in-law’s untimely death in a fatal car crash. No one had ever sung it before in her Baptist church, but the words and melody ministered deeply to her. She would not know the story behind it till many years later. There is so much unrest in our city right now, awaiting the Grand Jury decision in the difficult situation in Ferguson, Missouri. Our church is very near where the G.J. is deliberating. There is tension, fear, pleas for justice, protestors lining the streets–some peaceful, some not. It feels as if nothing is well in the city. My own soul feels tumultuous. I ask Jesus to calm the storm. Yes, this is timely encouragement, Sandy. We must all remember that with Jesus, all is well with our souls. All is well when we have Jesus.
Love

This was my Grandmother’s favorite hymn. Not only does it fill me with wonderful memories of her when I hear it, but it fills me with the peace of the truth that because we belong to God, it is well. No matter what. Thank you, Sandra!
Another comment. I just truly saw the name of Corrie Ten Boom, and she’s been one of my favorites for about 42 years. I’ve read much, but I also saw her twice connected to my church in Redwood City, CA. What an amazing gift from the Lord. I’ve loved her, and I sure hope to see her in heaven as one of my favorite moms. Bless you again. You really grabbed me this time. In a good way, of course, doncha think? 😉
