A devout life does bring wealth,
but it’s the rich simplicity of being yourself before God.
Since we entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless,
if we have bread on the table and shoes on our feet, that’s enough.
1 timothy 6:6-8 (MSG)
Be yourself.
Before God.
That’s where to find real wealth.

Beautiful! You and Deidra posted the same scripture and it’s a good one. I want to be rich in Jesus! Xoxox
You made me laugh. We have so many piles of shoes on our porch so often. Usually when a pile of Bhutanese come in. And we rarely wear shoes in the house, anyhow. We went that direction after being in Uganda for several stretches of time, and it was cleaner for the floors. ANYHOW, you made me grin. And, in spite of my yammering, I DID understand your reasoning/sharing issue. Thank you much, as usual.
I love those feet! I love this post, Sandra! Beautiful thoughts, just beautiful!
