Blessed are you who give yourselves over to God,
turn your backs on the world’s “sure thing,”
ignore what the world worships;
The world’s a huge stockpile of God-wonders and God-thoughts.
Nothing and no one comes close to you!
I start talking about you, telling what I know,
and quickly run out of words.
Neither numbers nor words account for you.
~Psalm 40:4-5 (MSG)
Still and living wonderstruck,
Sandy
Still memorizing with Ann Voskamp and The Romans Project. This week we’re reviewing Romans 1:1-16. I can’t believe I’ve actually memorized this much!
I’ve also accepted Margaret Feinberg’s challenge to read through the Bible in 40 days (40-Day Bible Challenge) during Lent. I’m listening to a dramatized audio version and have so far “read” through the book of Nehemiah.
I’m wonderstruck anew by His Word and gaining new insights from passages I’ve read many times before.
Beautiful! Happy Sunday to you!
Sandra,
It is so great – I am following you again. Wow – I couldn’t go with the 40 day challenge – having 2 Bible studies and trying to write 2 books. Too much. 🙂
But I almost have a handle on the first part of Romans. Are you going to tape yourself? I tried – but can’t quite get it yet.
Tell me if you do.
Blessings,
Janis
God-wonders and God-thoughts. We’ll never exhaust them, will we?
You have a lot going on! And how glorious that most of it keeps you saturated in the Word of God.
Love to you, sweet Jesus sister.
