That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel
also to you who are in Rome.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel,
because it is the power of God
that brings salvation to everyone who believes:
first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Romans 1:15-16 (NIV)
Still at it,

“the gospel,
because it is the power of God”
Sandy,
My college English teacher said she was teaching the gospel by teaching language. Then she quoted John,
“In the beginning was the word. And the Word was God.”
Enjoyed your blog.
Love that, Chip. Thanks for coming by.
Sandy,
I just found you, through Courtney’s blog. What a treat to read your posts! I will be visiting, often. I, too, will continue to preach the gospel, through my art and through my living. Blessings to you. ~Cynthia
Oh, I’m so glad to see you, Cynthia! I’ll love to see you back. Thank you.
Yes! We had communion this weekend, and my heart is full with that sweet confidence in the Gospel’s power…. Thanks for sharing!
We shared in communion today, too. Powerful.
… oh yes, Sandy! no shame! only grace and strength that runs abundantly and oh-so-deep!
Yes, Linda. Deep. That we would be as eager to share as Paul was. Eager over obligated.
I am NOT ashamed of God’s mighty gospel. It is powerful, it is life, it is strength,…
Amen.
My FAVORITE verse!
😀
Yep, I DO want to preach the gospel, in one way or another. Still trying to figure out the best ways to bring it to our present day life and hit hearts. ” HMMM?-ing” a little too often. Oh, well … God is Bigger [which is a good thing].
Step by step, maybe. Meeting needs as they cross our paths. As Jesus did. He’s much bigger, but He worked in small ways. I think you live the gospel…
Beautiful picture and verse… may we never be ashamed to say we love our Lord.
Never. No. Not ever ashamed.
I am still memorizing too. Love seeing it hear. And I love that part.. I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. AMEN.
Blessings
Janis
Hang in there, Janis. We can do it. Yes, we can.
