To steep ourselves in every moment.
This is how we should live, no matter our age.
Types of Tea and Their Health Benefits
Tea should be taken in solitude. ~attributed to C.S. Lewis
Do you drink tea? Alone or with company? What’s your favorite kind? Why?
Debra says
Vanilla Chai Latte!
I am a teabag; the longer I seep in him the stronger I grow.
Sandra says
I do love a chai latte! Yum. (I’m a teabag, too!)
Carol J. Garvin says
I don’t drink a lot of tea — I’m a black coffee or Diet Coke person — but I do have a weakness for Chai Lattes… or just the plain steeped Chai. Love that wonderful cinnamon fragrance as I sip. I love the analogy of allowing ourselves to be steeped in Him. Such a comforting thought.
Sandra says
Yes, when it’s coffee–it’s black. Though sometimes I like a flavored one–the kind with the whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. It (and a chai latte) are desserts for me. 🙂
You have a sweet fragrance yourself. 🙂
Megan Willome says
I drink it alone, now that my mom’s gone. I prefer greens and whites. No sweetness.
However, I do have a four-cup pot of coffee in the morning with chocolate almond milk. I always wake up faint, and that helps, along with a protein bar.
Sandra says
That first line, that got me. 🙁
I like green and white, especially green jasmine. I do like Earl Gray, though.
Chocolate almond milk? There is such a thing? In coffee? I may need to try that…
Sandra says
Oh, and I don’t do sweet either–unless I’ve got a cold. Then hot sweet tea makes me happy.
Kel Rohlf says
I’m allergic to tea 🙁 so I have become a coffee girl…must have splenda and milk at least…most of my friends drink their coffee black…and my husband claims that he drinks his coffee black “like Jesus did” 🙂
