“Look, there’s a dragonfly.” He points into the water.
We’ve been hiking deep along less traveled paths. We’ve climbed up and over even as the rain drips off hoods and jeans turn dark and cling to legs.
I’ve thought about Lynnette’s words as she held the bear skull up. “Eyes in front, likes to hunt. Eyes on the side, likes to hide.”
God’s made us hunters and seekers, I think. He’s placed our eyes in front so we can follow hard after Him. But also, perhaps, so we don’t miss any of the beauty in our midst. Or someone who needs help.
Pick up the rest of the story over at BibleDude today. Then come back here to enjoy the rest of the photos. (No peeking before.)

I came over from Bible Dude and didn’t understand what all the peeking was about! 🙂 Beautiful pictures but waiting to see the shots of the bear! Thank you for sharing

The bear never appeared, Kathy. 🙁

I did not peek – but only because I did not see the warning not to. Glad I came – gorgeous pix.

Great shots… and I really like D for spreading out on the wood like that. Seems like I know of Someone else who spread himself out on wood for me once. <3
Sandra says
Me, too. I know that same Someone. 🙂

I often thought how odd it was that chickens had eyes on the sides of their heads. Perspective is good.
