A voice says, “Shout!”
I said, “What shall I shout?”
“These people are nothing but grass,
their love fragile as wildflowers.
The grass withers, the wildflowers fade,
if God so much as puffs on them.
Aren’t these people just so much grass?
True, the grass withers and the wildflowers fade,
but our God’s Word stands firm and forever.”
Isaiah 40:6-8 (MSG)
Amen! So glad we can count on God’s Word to stand firm forever, no mater what!! I’m reminded by all the heat and drought here, where I live, how quickly the grass withers and the wildflowers do fade!
In His Lo♥e, Ann @ Christ in the Clouds
Amen! A great reminder to treasure every day.
Blessings!
love this!!!!!
Perfect image for this time of year. I will think of it today as I look at the Queen Anne’s Lace in full bloom…
After so much sadness, in the last couple of days, it’s a blessing to be here.
May the families and friends of the shooting know continued strength and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
He stands firm and forever. Oh, how we need those words. His beauty will last – always. Thank you.
Love is fragile, oh that is so true, I so enjoyed this picture and the words. Thank you
As I’m watering our yard today, the truth of this verse is right before my eyes. So much is fading away when we are pushing 100+ degrees today. [When I’m outside I’M fading, too!] But HE is NOT and He and His Word are all we can rely upon.
Amen!
