Perhaps the role of those involved in the arts, then, is to awaken ourselves and others to beauty–in all its risk and richness. ~Luci Shaw
Let’s go all word wild.
Let’s bound over boundaries and
color outside the fence lines.
Let’s open up new spaces within ourselves
and dive in deep waters.
Let’s be reckless with richness
and leap into the light.
Let’s splash the page with color
and melt heaven to earth.
Let’s let our imaginations loose
and gallop with the Spirit.
Let’s wake up to
exuberant beauty!
I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength. ~Ephesians 1:18-19 (Message)

Yes, yes! Let’s!!! Beautiful!
So lets! 😀
This is breathtaking, and refreshing. 🙂
I found you through High Calling Blogs, and I think I might have just seen you on BlogFrog!
So excited!!
So cool, Meredith. And you did. I joined the (in)courage community (I thought I already had), and that apparently bumped me right into BlogFrog, and now I have to figure out what to do with that. 😉 Wonderful to see you here.
Absolutely beautiful pictures! I feel exhilarated just in the looking.
Thank you, Lisa! I love seeing deep with the images, too.
The words you choose in conjunction with your photos are always just perfect!
If that’s true, I’ve learned from the best. You.
Those photos…I feel like I have plunged headlong into rich living! You certainly have heeded Luci’s call–awakening to beauty. Just gorgeous, Sandy.
Oh, Laura, thanks. I love Luci. I must order this book. The Kindle is just not cutting it.
It’s hard to breathe in the deep sea where you dive, Sandy.
This is beautiful stuff. I’ve missed getting over here lately. I’ll be fixing that…
Lyla! You’ve been so busy. And I still haven’t forgotten you, girlfriend. Honest. I’m a bad little writer friend.
Beautiful photos, Sandy – and collectively, a work of art.
Thanks so much, Glynn. You encourage me to keep pressing on.
Beautiful Sandra, exquisite photographs and wonderful writing!
Thanks so much, Elizabeth!
Love those monarch shots! So beautiful Sandy! Galloping with the Spirit… what a freeing sensation. Beautiful.
Thanks, Patricia! Let’s round us up a holy posse and go round up some wild words. 😉
Word wild, yes, I’m in! 🙂
Ahh, Karen. I thought of you just yesterday as I surveyed my wild not-garden, now all mowed over, gone to grass and weeds.
Color outside the lines of the fence and – – be brave enough to get out of the box. I liked your line: Let’s splash the page with color and melt heaven to earth. I tried to envision heaven melting and perhaps the rain is more than God’s tears, but a melting of color in process when we see the rain bow.
Beautiful thought, Hazel. Thank you.
Sandra, I was inspired by your post and photos and then again by Hazel’s comment! Twice blessed in one post! Love that!
