I don’t know what it is.
But it’s awash in flowers.
And fragrance oh so sweet.
I want to bundle the branches to my nose.
Except for the buzzing.
The tree is bee heaven.
All kinds.
I stand under the pink canopy for a full 30 minutes.
Trying to capture a bumblebee.
Through my lens, of course.
But not one stay will stay put long enough to focus.
I circle and dip as I camera dance.
And I wonder (because I don’t know much about bees) . . .
Can they even taste the nectar?
Can they feel the velvet under their feet?
Can they smell the perfume?
Can they hear His voice above their busy?
Are they so busy buzzing, bouncing, gathering, spreading that they can’t see they are enfolded by glory?
Am I?
Are you?
Can’t . They. Just. Stop?
Stopping,
Job, are you listening? Have you noticed all this?
Stop in your tracks! Take in God’s miracle-wonders!
~Job 37:14 (Message)

Beautiful pictures, Sandra. I can almost smell the flowers and hear the bees buzzing. =)

How beautiful and marvelous God’s works are! The world is “awash” in His beauty especially in springtime. Sandra, you have done a wonderfully job of capturing that beauty in your photos.

Things are a bit delayed here this year, too much cold for too long.. but soon.. soon I too will hear the familiar roaring hum that fills the silence of our country acres
and I stop, indeed I stop.
