Imagine my shock when I sauntered out to the living room to check out the customers at the feeder.
I looked up the tree.
And. Saw. This.
Almost close enough to touch.
Well, not quite.
Hands shaking. Baby camera.

awww!
Awww? More like yikes! 🙂
I know the feeling …
I’m amazed at how you catch those little chickadees. They won’t sit still long enough for me.
Hi Sandra –
A little too big for the bird feeder! I’m sure he kept some of your regulars away.
Blessings,
Susan 🙂
He didn’t seem to be too interested in them . . .
Oh, my word! Is that a red-tailed hawk? It must be with that big white chunky breast. Beautiful, Sandra!
I’m not sure. I couldn’t figure it out from the book because I don’t think I caught the rest of him very well.

We have a Merlin who likes to swoop in and scoop up a Chickadee at the feeder. Beautiful and deadly.
He better not be swooping in to steal my birds. He can have the mice.
🙂
That hawk is so much more fascinating than the turkey that walk across my yard the other day.
😀
