“I’m glad you’re going,” my son said tonight. “But be careful. Are you sure these people aren’t ax murderers?”
Pretty sure.
I mean, I haven’t really met any of them. But they look nice. I suppose they could be posting fake photos.
I doubt it.
And their hearts bleed Jesus.
We’ve been getting to know each other. For over a year.
Online.
We are women of God. Prayer partners. Sticky sisters.
Bonded heart to heart and spirit to spirit.
Online.
And we’re about to become real.
God has called us together for such a time as this.
It’s exciting. And a little scary.
(Bad thought: What if they like me better online?)
I am winging my way to Nashville in the morning.
To hug some necks.
And share some stories.
And I am so excited!

Sisters are good! I missed the what, but have fun. Peeling away will tear pieces of you off if you’re sticky.

The “what” is a small gathering of online friends. Staying with @TamiHeim, one of the authors of @stickyJesus. Not sure there’s a “plan,” although I think we’re going to a book signing on Saturday. Friends coming from Florida and Georgia. Meeting others for dinner. Expecting to laugh a lot. Maybe cry some. 🙂 I’ll post more next week.
