Today was one of those days when day runs into night, and you’re still running–and not sure if you’re coming or going.
I spent a lot of the day looking through a windshield. And tonight, for a moment, day and night saluted at the changing of the guard in a pink-edged blue bowl.
The sun set on my right as the full moon rose on my left.
I caught a not-so-good picture of the sun as I drove and raced to the backyard as soon as I pulled into our driveway.
And several silver needles sewed up the day.
Goodnight moon.
The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Isaiah 60:19 (NIV)

Goodnight moon is one of my all time favorite kid’s books. I had to check out the post when I saw the title. Loved the pictures and scripture, too.

I love that book, too. Can’t wait until I can read it to my youngest grandgirl and search for the bunny.
