I’m taking a course on creating social media graphics from Crystal Stine this month. We’ve been learning how to work with PicMonkey (which I already use) and Canva (which I’d never heard of), and by the end of the month, I may even have a decent printable to offer you. The course is called Creative Basics: 30 Days to Awesome Social Media Art and will be available as a Kindle book in May. You can preorder it now.
Today I thought I’d share a few of my favorite graphics from this past week since they each lend themselves to a little Still Saturday contemplation. (If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you may have already seen them.)
Have a beautiful weekend. I’m heading over the state line in the morning for my third harp lesson.
In the stillness,
Sandy

Welcome to the Still Saturday Community where we pause after a busy week, move in quiet pilgrimage, maybe linger a while in some still place, and soak in the beauty of images and reflect on the depth of sparse words. We’d love for you to join us. Grab the button and link up below. We all love to hear if something especially speaks to your heart, but please don’t feel pressured to comment. Simply take some time to be still together, to gaze long and drink deep.
I love your designs! Learning something new, creating, it’s such a life-giving activity in my opinion.
I’m kind of addicted to making these… 🙂
Sarah this has been a year of learning for me too. I absolutely love Canva – especially the $1 images. Be blessed! – Kia
I haven’t gone past the free stuff yet. 😉 I think I still like PicMonkey better… but there *are* some things that seem easier on Canva–and harder. 🙂
Hi Sandra I love your quote on forgiveness. It is awesome! I am grateful for the linkup.
Blessings to you.
That’s a quote to ponder, right? I’ve found it so true for me. I’m grateful for YOU!
“The things we see everyday are the things we never see at all.”
Stopped by this one.
I’m going on vacation with my family this week, so I’m going to practice my seeing.
Thanks for hosting us on the weekend.
Yeah… that one stopped me, too. Have a beautiful time away, Michele.
You’re learning to play the harp!? How wonderful, Sandra! It’s one of my dreams to play an instrument and the harp would be my first choice! Your graphics are super – I’ll have to add that Creative Basics book to my wish list! Have a lovely weekend!
I am, June! I took lessons a few years back for a few months. Then took my harp to the hospice home when my mom was a patient. After that I didn’t have the heart for it and sold it. I’ve started again with a rental instrument. Saying a prayer over your dreams right now. 🙂
As always, your words and pictures and graphics are beautiful and inspiring. Thank you.
Bless you, Debbie. Thank you.
May we always hear Him in the stillness! Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Amen to that, Laurie. And may we be quiet enough to listen. Love to you, friend.
Sandra,
These are lovely and thoughtful too. I love to be in the stillness. I guess it’s time I stop and go be still.
Blessings,
Janis
Tiptoeing quietly in, Janis, to wish you a restful evening and a beautiful Lord’s Day. Backing out… shhh. 🙂
Thank you for hosting the linkup! Blessings!
Thanks for joining us, Letetia. Have a beautiful rest of the weekend.
Beautiful, Sandy….and what fun! Much love to you, my friend. xox
Much love coming back at you, dear Patricia.
Lovely graphics and posters, Sandy!
Making them sounds really creative and must be wonderful!
Nina… it’s fun. And there’s no mess. 😉
