“Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” ~ Luke 5:16 (NIV)

Sandy

I hate (and fight against) those times of feeling utterly alone. I am learning, sometimes too slowly, that it’s in those very moments of loneliness that Jesus is nearest. It’s in those moments that I have learned to press in closer and listen to the stillness of His overwhelming presence. Sometimes I think He speaks loudest when I am feeling the most lonely.
Thank you for this reminder that we are not ever alone.

Sandra Heska King says
I waiver between productivity and procrastination. I need to see my procrastination sometimes as a need to reduce my busy in order to rest.
