I hate when summer starts to wane into fall, but once I get over that, I fall in love with the change. With this past week’s weather and the rain, it’s beginning to look like autumn might fall with a thud…
As you know, autumn isn’t a real season down here in the subtropical south, (although we do have relatively fallish temps this morning) so I greatly appreciate enjoying the beauty through the lens of friends like you, Sandra. So pretty. Thank you. And that verse? My sweet husband had to live it out a couple of weeks ago when he was asked to preach the funeral for a woman he did not know very well. He had to fully rely on the Holy Spirit for the right words to both meet with her, determine her relationship with the LORD, and then to preach her funeral. I pray that I’m as prepared as he was. Have a beautiful Sunday, Sandra. Much love, Patricia
My husband dragged out the snowblower yesterday in preparation of what’s to come. I do miss Florida at times. I wish I’d known you when we lived there.
Sometimes that preaching of the Word involves just living it out in response to whatever circumstances come our way. And we can’t walk it out or talk it out without staying in it. I’m more and more convicted that I need to be in it even more. Grateful for your husband’s faithfulness and openness.
What you shared is exactly what we go through day by day. In season and out of season how the Word of God is being brought in significantly. Love the photos, BTW. This is always my favorite time of year to see the colorfulness. In April-ish, BTW, that’s my other favorite when the leaves are suddenly coming out of the empty parts of the trees. Makes me happy both of those times of the year! Trusting Him is all I can do anytime, anywhere.

Thanks so much for how you put this together.
