So true. One of the things that has come with age and wisdom is learning to appreciate myself for my differences, what makes me ME. For a long time I was focused on comparing myself to others especially when I was in the fashion industry and it was exhausting and my heart was never at peace. Now I value myself through thee value that HE gave me when He died for me.

I hear you loud and clear, Maria. I’ve been thinking maybe it’s okay to compare some things like how one person stewards their unique gifts to see if we can learn something–but to compare ourselves as better or worse–that’s exhausting, yes.
