Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it.
Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Went walking this morning and found myself singing His praises in the rain. It was wonderful!

This brings to mind the worship song “Rise up and praise Him” by Paul Baloche. I’m glad for any opportunity to praise Him, the God of righteousness and justice. May His will be done through us this week!

My mind has a hard time grasping that the purpose of this incredible joy in this Psalm is because the Lord is coming to judge the earth. Is it okay to rejoice in all of the Lord’s judgements, (no more little girls raped & hell for those the Lord decides). Hope it’s okay to put that here…heavy on my mind today. Love & prayers, in Jesus, Cynthia
