No words today.
I just want to walk with you a ways down my road
and marvel in the mundane.
I want to notice the unnoticed
and see the unseen.
To listen and just breathe.
Walk with me?
(Oops. I guess those were words.)

Still noticing,

Welcome to Still Saturday where we pause after a busy week, move in quiet pilgrimage, maybe linger a while in some still place, and soak in the beauty of images and words. We’d love for you to join us. Get the details on the left, grab your favorite button, and link up below. We all love to hear if something especially speaks to your heart, but please don’t feel pressured to comment. Simply take some time to gaze long and drink deep.

you would feel right at home here, I know it
Sandra Heska King says
I know I would. I guess I should hurry if I’m going to see it. Or… I could just visit you in your next home. Doubt I’d feel at home there. 😉
HisFireFly says
I think you would indeed feel right at home, once the red dirt gets on your skin, it is always home

Ahhh, some days deserve stilled tongues, seeing eyes, and hearing ears. Love what your eyes saw. Will always love walking with you, you chocolate-dipped-Brussels-sprouts-eater! Love you!
Sandra Heska King says
Awww, Lynn. I’d love to share a cup of tea and some CCBS with you (in)RL.

gorgeous shots. are those wild turkeys?
Sandra Heska King says
They are. They’re not too smart. See my response to Patricia below. 🙂

That’s my kind of walk, my beautiful friend. And look at those wild turkeys. What fun!
Sandra Heska King says
A car coming down the road behind me stopped next to mama and her babies (note she’s walking up a hill) and yelled at her (well, the driver yelled) to get out of the road. So they hustled off, and I followed them to find the rest of the flock.
Kris says
Love these images, Sandy. I want to be quiet and notice Him–all the unexpected places He shows up…
Sandra Heska King says
Surely He is the King of the unexpected. Love to you, Kris.

Beautiful photos, Sandra – would have loved a walk like that this morning:) My aunt and mom keep telling me “nothing exciting’s happening.” I tell them – there is beauty when nothing exciting is happening – and there is – I don’t need excitement to find amazing things in the daily – Beautiful. Beautiful. Morning!

What beautiful photos. But the ones of the old barn!!! Made me realize how much serenity & beauty can be found in the old if we but take the time to behold. Thank you for taking me on your walk. Have a blessed Sunday!

So beautiful! Makes me wish I could come go for a walk with you but thank you for giving us a glimpse. “I want to notice the unnoticed.” Oh how I loved that as I feel in the same place…a need to slow down and notice.
