Jesus, now well on the way up to Jerusalem, took the Twelve off to the side of the road and said, “Listen to me carefully. We are on our way up to Jerusalem. When we get there, the Son of Man will be betrayed to the religious leaders and scholars. They will sentence him to death. They will then hand him over to the Romans for mockery and torture and crucifixion. On the third day he will be raised up alive.” ~Matthew 20:17-19 (Message)

This is my favorite week of the year. I’m truly overwhelmed with God’s grace.
“Amazing grace how can it be that You my King should die for me.”
Much love to you on this Palm Sunday on the way to Jerusalem!
xo
So much to ponder . . . Love coming back at you.
Preparing my heart to know this today. Even with a sick boy at home. Happy Palm Sunday.
Oh, I hope the sweet boy is better. I missed church today, too, because I’m staying with my dad after his nasty fall.
Love your Frederick Buechner quote! I’m reading one of his books right now!
Happened by today through jumptandem and hoping to read more here, and maybe join you on still Saturdays in the future!
That would be lovely, Emily. Thank you for coming by. Delighted to “meet” you.
I wonder. What would have been going through my head, listening to Jesus tell me he’d be killed and then he’d be alive? Who talks like that? Who else could have made such a claim?
I think I would have thought He needed more sleep. It’s in the looking back and remembering.
Thanks for sharing today Sandra.. Love the photos and the verse as well!
Thank you, Kerry!
Beautiful as always.
He pulled them to the side of the road to tell them… and I think, “Lord, pull me aside and tell me again, how love kept you going on that path to your destiny and mine.”
Oh, what a Savior!
Yes, tell us again, Lord.
How beautiful.
Happy Palm Sunday.
Have a blessed week!

OK, what’s the tree??? I know I should know, but I don’t know, at least now.
But, lovely and wonderful and fitting well into our dear and dearest week of life forever and ever until we are with Him forever and ever in HIS world.
It’s in our backyard, Caryjo, and I don’t know for sure. Maybe a sugar maple?
