Do you see it?
How He tosses His palette on the morning?
How he swipes His rainbow hand across new canvas?
How He outlines fine and brushes bold?
How He mists fresh and rains grace on parched hearts?
How He hides surprises within each painting?
How He stamps the day with His thumbprint
and presses His heart into ours?
Do you see it?
Thank you for reading and posting your beautiful comments. I read each and every one, although I have not had time to respond yet. I am grateful for you.
You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world.

I am always surprised when people say they cannot see God… He’s ALL AROUND, “in every lovely shape and sound.”
And I love the line about surprises – He indeed loves those 😀

Really loved this. As a photographer I am always talking about really ” seeing” nature and all parts of your life. To many people just look they don’t see

For those of us who love Him we cannot NOT see imprint each day, everything reminds us of His gracious hand at work…

Sandy – this is joy to read. And one more reminder that for some curious reason, you and I share a lot in common. I have an octagonal window exactly like that one at the top of my bedroom wall. Through it I see the seasons change as the branches of our gingko tree go from bud to vibrant chartreuse to brilliant yellow to beautifully bare. Our view is not as lush as yours, yet morning by morning, as my eyes light there – I see it, too.

I really like this. So true… just to view Him in my heart painting and doing all those lovely things. It’s what I rely on in “me”.
