And uninvited visitors.
I took all these photos through the kitchen window.
And if you love hummingbirds, you’ll love Stephanie Shott’s devotions this past week.
These beautiful creatures offer all kinds of lessons for the whole family.
And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.

Great photos. All this past week, I’ve been watching a hummingbird outside the kitchen window, lsurping down the salvia.

Thanks! I’ve never seen them before like this. Lucky to see one or two a week in the past. Totally fascinating. I’m going to have to have someone refill the feeder when we’re gone.

Aren’t they the most darling birds? Great photos, especially through the window. Thanks.

Being a photographer myself, I know how hard it is to catch a photo of these fast movers. I like the sleepy ones on the sunflower. Nice work.

What fun that you’ve caught in mid-air and in rest!

Love these, Sandy – so lovely – and so many! Particularly like the ones of these little creatures being still – seen so seldom! Guess everybody needs to rest on occasion. :>)
