It is no use to grumble and complain; it’s just as cheap and easy to rejoice.
When God sorts out the weather and sends rain – why, rain’s my choice. ~James Whitcomb Riley
Listen, you heavens, and I will speak; hear, you earth, the words of my mouth. Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
~Deuteronomy 32:1-3 (NIV)

We finally got a break in the rain — and I am grateful.

I thought we’d get a break today, but it looks like more thunderstorms. Then into the 90s for a couple days with more storms on Tuesday. We’re cleaning up a mess downstairs because one of the sump pumps quit.
Patience and joy. 😀
