Be still
and know
I AM.
Know
I AM
and
be still.
Some weeks are more stressful than others.
Filled with more interruptions and unpleasant surprises.
That yet hold seeds of possibilities.
This has been one of those weeks.
Shhhhhhh,
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. ~Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” ~Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

Hi Sandy –
By being still, we say we trust Him. By being still, we wait expectantly for His next move. By being still, we rest aware that He is working behind the scenes.
Blessings,
Susan 🙂

And BTW, I’m just going to get a second copy of that book. 😉

On stormy days think also of Mark 4:39 — “He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” Nothing is beyond His control.
BTW, you’ll find your name on my blog today. You might like to check it out. 🙂

Sorry for your difficult week, and yet, how good it is to recognize seeds of possibility — grace in the midst of it all.
Sandra says
Hi, Shari! So glad you came by! Right on your mom’s heels. 🙂
I always think about how seeds need darkness to germinate.
