The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life. ~William Faulkner
Note: I took this photo at a basketball game yesterday. It’s terrible. And I love it.
At Susan’s suggestion, I’m getting brumous with Claire and Kelly and Sarah. Kelly says “brumous” basically means “blurry” or capturing the essence of something in blur. I guess this fits that definition!

Have you shared this at “3”, Sandra … it’s delightful and their prompt is “Brumous”.
Sandra says
Thanks, Susan! I just did. I had to look up “brumous.” 😉

I love it too! Some of the coolest shots happen by accident, don’t they? I need to check out that cue.

They do! And sometimes they hold such delightful surprises!

Oh, Claudia. So cool. After the response to this, I’ll think twice about deleting the blur. 😉

I must confuse, I love it too. You should frame it and put it in your office.
Does this mean I should stop deleting my brumous shots? Trust me. I’ve never made a mistake as beautiful as this.
Sandra says
Yes! Don’t. Thanks.
