When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. ~Henri Nouwen
Is that picture just the top of the roost or what? Adorable. And I love the quote too. Hope all is well with you, Sandra. 🙂 Happy Sunday.
They are visitors to our rental house (where my father-in-law) used to live. They came from across the road the other morning heading down to check out the creek behind the house. They are almost under the deck. Creek is on the left. 🙂
I’m doing a chicken one (same color) this week, too! The friendship quote is so true.
The kitchen in our temporary home is decorated with roosters.
Love the photo and the quote. I’m going to put up a rooster one just for fun! (also, because I don’t have any chickens)
😀 I’ll have to share some stories of our chicken-raising days . . .
We had two Rhode Island Reds before we moved, aptly named by my little fella, Reddy and Reddy2. Ah, I do miss their clucking and silliness.
Blessings.
Our first two chickens were RIRs. Henry and Henrietta. Except Henrietta turned into Henry II.
I like how the one on the right seems so attentively listening.
We could take a lesson. 😉
Yes.
