Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox; what is soft is strong.

I can’t explain exactly why in this space, but I want to tell you how much this means to me today. Very affirming.
Thank you….

You are so welcome. If you are the only person (besides me) this quote touches today, it’s all worth it. 🙂

I haven’t made it to my RSS feed since late last week. Your four posts waiting there each awakened different emotions.
“Water” makes me wonder with trepidation how much more softened, broken I need to be.
“The Road of Life” is just grand. It makes me want to cry with gratitude and fly with freedom.
“All Because of a Root” makes me want to get in the car and hop over to your place for an afternoon.
“Fragrance of Morning” brings a lump that shall probably be bobbing between lying on my chest and stuck in my throat for a while.
And now it’s time to go do something with my day?

Well, now. Someday we should meet halfway.
You comments brought a lump to my throat.

The words are beautiful, yes,
but I am lost in the photo.
Lovely.
Like you…

It’s strange how in our workplaces, schools, and even churches we sometimes value the rock like personalities rather than the subtle water like traits of the humble and soft.

Oh, good insight!

Where is that beautiful picture taken?

I should have posted that. It’s Lake Michigan–Saugatauk State Park.
