Scripture Sunday: Firm and Forever
A voice says, “Shout!”
I said, “What shall I shout?”
“These people are nothing but grass,
their love fragile as wildflowers.
The grass withers, the wildflowers fade,
if God so much as puffs on them.
Aren’t these people just so much grass?
True, the grass withers and the wildflowers fade,
but our God’s Word stands firm and forever.”

Amen! So glad we can count on God’s Word to stand firm forever, no mater what!! I’m reminded by all the heat and drought here, where I live, how quickly the grass withers and the wildflowers do fade!

As I’m watering our yard today, the truth of this verse is right before my eyes. So much is fading away when we are pushing 100+ degrees today. [When I'm outside I'M fading, too!] But HE is NOT and He and His Word are all we can rely upon.
